Telemedicine is playing an important role in helping to fight the spread of COVID-19 by reducing the need for patients to visit medical facilities to meet with physicians. While it is not without challenges as patients may not have access to or understanding of the technology, some doctors see it remaining a part of their practice after the COVID-19 emergency has passed.
